Who are we?

The Legal Company (TLC) is a corporate legal advisory firm in Amstelveen with 6 ambitious professionals. We provide legal advice, support our clients and ensure they stay up to date on Governance and Compliance. We serve a wide range of companies, ranging from a handful of employees to more than 100! These are mainly companies that consider it important to be well organised and equipped legally. Our clients are Dutch and international enterprises operating in, among others, ICT, Accountancy, Tech, Facility Services, and Fashion and lifestyle brands. TLC’s main areas of focus are employment law, corporate law, contract law, privacy law, and rental and real estate law. Our lawyers regularly host legal breakfast sessions, masterclasses and training sessions for our clients and prospects on current and pressing legal topics. TLC collaborates with a number of intermediaries such as accountants, tax advisors, notaries, pension advisors and insurance advisors.

What are we looking for?

• You hold a completed university degree in Dutch law (civil law)
• You have at least 7 to 10 years of practical work experience for the (international) business community (employment law, corporate law, contract law and/or private law)
• You are used to billable work and time-writing with targets
• You are a strong strategic legal advisor the client can rely on, and you translate that directly into your work when drafting contracts, answering questions and drafting letters;
• You have a commercial drive;
• You are fast and service-oriented and communicate well with your colleagues and clients
• You can write practical and well-substantiated (complex) advice;
• You enjoy connecting with entrepreneurs, networking and business drinks;
• You enjoy presenting and have an affinity for creating and sharing legal content
• You have an excellent command of Dutch and English, spoken and written
